What an amazing verse! 💛 Though we often function by our own ways, in our own strength, trying to get through life by ourselves—carrying fears, burdens, cares and worries—God calls us to cast all of it on Him, because He cares for us. He is our Father.
We do not need to live or operate like orphans, like people who don’t have a Father. We have a Father who loves us deeply, who cares for us, and who is the Most High God. He is in control—sovereign, all-powerful, full of goodness, and He sees everything.
He is the One we can trust in. The One we can call Abba Father. So let’s not allow the cares and worries of life to consume us, and try to live independently—let’s cast it all on Him, like a child coming to their Father.
